Trip to Bentong !!! Really an eye-opener

HI there, I have not been updating my blog because I went to BENTONG for the last two days. This is what happened. On Monday, the trip is supposed to starting around 4.30pm but it is because of me, and my OT lecturer saying that on monday, I am having OT test, so I am force to tell my pet-sister delay until 5.30pm. So that, I can make it to her boyfriend's house and go together. But suddenly, I remembered that my mother needed to use my car, so once again, I call her to wait for me until 6.00pm. Because of this, I asked my aunt to send me there. Sigh~~ I feel sorry about the delay Sis!!.

At the end, I managed to make my way to her boyfriend's house and straightway, we start our journey to BENTONG. The moment we drive out of the 1 Utama junction, the jam has started. So, with those traffic conditions, we managed to get there to meet up other friends from forum at BENTONG around 8pm. Upon arrival, we went to the house of a forumer and he showed us his collection on 12" inch vinyl figure collection. I was amazing on his collection plus he is married and have 3 kids and a newborn baby. Oops!! I forgot to congratulate him on his newborn baby.. Nvm about that. I cant imagine a guy around 30++ having a 40k - 50k collections of vinyl figure. Somemore, all of the figure are a set plus background to match them. I am really impressed for this kind of hard core fans. So, After that, we went to check in and go for dinner.

This is where things gets spice up. The dinner that we are having a wild animal dinner. I was shocked and unprepared for this kind of stuff, but I told myself, everything has its first time, so I just go with it. Before we enter the restaurant, we saw a couple of monkey in the cage(thinking,are we eating it?) OK, the dinner menu contains curry wild boar meat(common thing),curry chameleon(Argh!! I didn't eat it, to gross),snake soup(I did drink the soup but I didn't eat those meat),some vegetable(Which I eat the most), Salt Fish(I don't know why it is called that) and Fresh Prawn(Luck, there are is something which can be eat). Other than that, the waitress also ask us, about ordering the monkey brain and I was shocked again and this time, I stoned). I just saw those monkey when we walking into the restaurant and it will end up in my stomach. I tell my pet-sis that we better not do that. So, we didnt do it, whew. Later, after the dinner, suddenly one of the forumer order a couple of beer, and I was thinking what is happening now? why are we drinking beer? And they just give me a glass of beer and ask me to drink. Then my mind once again, Should I drink the beer, but people offer me and if I rejected them, they will not put in their league. So, I decided to drink it as goodwill for them. But it end up badly, which they keep on pouring beer to my glass. After an hour, another three forumer just come to BENTONG and join us for dinner they eat the same as us. Then they ordered another 3 more large bottles of beer. I managed to drink two glass because I drink it slowly. After the drinking, I went out of the restaurant and I saw something more horrible which I saw someone kill a turtle (in chinese word, water fish), then i was shocked again.

After the dinner, I thought it is end of the activites for today. Then I happily walk around and suddenly the organizer told us that we are going to karaoke. But I realized that the karaoke is a lounge and pub. the moment I went in, I know that it is another round of beer but I cant refused because all of members are there. I ended up drinking more than FOUR large bottles of beer but I realized that I am not drunk at all. By the way, they even make a deal with me, that i will drunk but end up, most of them are drunk. So, we went back to the hotel at 4am and rest for next day's activities which I have no idea what is on?

The next day, I woke up around 10.45am, and we went for dim sum session near the hotel. But the dim sum doesnt have alot of variety. So, I just eat three plates and done with it because later we are going to eat lunch. After the lunch, we went for the waterfall, very nice and there is a problem, recently someone just got drowned and die at the waterfall because there are those yellow lines blocking certain areas. Then I realized that this month is a ghost month. So, we continue taking photo around the waterfall. After the photo session, we were thinking of going to play at the waterfall suddenly it started to rain. So we need to run to our cars. I think it is a omen, telling me not to go to the waterfall. Later, we went to a shop called "kou po". It is a shop that only sell ABC and homemade ice-cream. Then we went to the hot spring for second round because the waterfall thing was not fun. Before that, we make a short detour, go to the high place to take photo of the whole BENTONG. Then straight to the hot spring, it was a disappointed because the condition of the hot spring, it is not well maintained, plus the people there just throw the rubbish around the compound and into the hot spring. I dont dare to dip myself in it which is a wise choice, because those who went in, got injury and itchy after the dip. Whew!!! What a close call. It is a waste to see a rare hot spring to waste like that. After that, we went for our farewell dinner then back to civilzation.

OMG!!!!. The trip back to KL is horrible, it took us around 2 and half hours to get home. Luckily, I am not tired. But Overall the trip was great. Alot of shocked and happiness. And thanks to my sis and all of the forumer.( and her bf) I have a great time.
